Be respectful and inclusive

• Treat all members with kindness, respect, and professionalism.
• Honor different backgrounds, identities, industries, and perspectives.
• Discrimination, harassment, and hateful behavior are not tolerated.

Support over self-promotion

LIC WE is a relationship-first community. Share resources, insight, and experience generously.

• Avoid unsolicited pitching, sales messages, and spam.
• Promote your work only in designated spaces or when invited.
• If you are unsure whether something is appropriate, ask first.

Practice confidentiality and trust

Many LIC WE conversations include personal experiences and business-sensitive information.

• Do not share private conversations, ideas, or personal details without permission.
• Respect boundaries around anything shared off the record.

Engage with integrity

Show up honestly and authentically, and treat the work of other members with care.

• Credit people for their ideas, work, and contributions.
• Do not copy, exploit, or misrepresent another member's work.

Participate with care and accountability

Listen as much as you speak, stay open to feedback, and take responsibility if harm occurs.

Keep it constructive

Healthy discussion and different opinions are welcome. Personal attacks, shaming, dismissive behavior, and bad-faith disruption are not.

Protect community safety

LIC WE may address behavior privately or publicly and may suspend or remove members who seriously or repeatedly violate these standards.
